In our opinion Parallel Weddings is the best wedding videographer in the GTA. They are not like most videographers who focus on beautiful photoshoot scenes, seemingly forgetting that weddings are about celebrating with family and friends. The day is about the couple, but not them in isolation, it's about them in connection to their family, their upbringing, their relationship and all those that shaped them into who they are. It's about having a party with all your favourite people. And in my opinion there is no one else in Ontario crafting films with the technical quality of Parallel Weddings and actual filmic story telling that is driven by the events, the emotions and the people there.
Filmic Storytelling (cinematic)
Everyone claims to be "cinematic" with their Films, but I think Parallel is one of the few who actually craft Films that are entirely cinematic in their execution. A lot of people capture cinematic shots, but the editing is not Filmic. And to be fair everyone has their own preferences for what they want from a Wedding Film. But from our perspective the cinematic storytelling, scene building and intentional shots really put Parallel Weddings above the rest.
A lot of wedding videographers put together videos that would be classified as a montage, or hype edit. This may be what you're looking for, but for me it is a lower level of quality. Perfectly fine, but it doesn't take nearly the level of intentional storytelling and craftsmanship. I think most people know that when watching different videos that some require far more work and attention to detail.
Parallel Weddings treats every wedding like a Film project. They scrutinize and perform each filmmaking task as if it was for a once every 5 years major Film production. You will never feel like a Parallel wedding film has been quickly churned out. There is so much care and attention to audio selection, shot selection, ordering and music timing. Every aspect of production is crafted to flow perfectly together.
This is why I strongly feel they are crafting films of a superior quality compared to the end product being offered by many in the Toronto videography market.
